Role: On-site Construction Manager of Non Process Operations Buildings 
$5 billion modernization of Rio Tinto Alcan’s 60-year-old Kitimat aluminum smelter in British Columbia. The Non Process Operations Buildings was a $40 million design/build project, which included five separate buildings within the facility. Four of the buildings were used as combination control centers/offices/meeting rooms and the fifth was a 40k square foot cafeteria for the smelter employees.
Hansen Construction Management Group provided CM services as well as on-site construction management, project management and project engineering services.
